New "teller vision" technology could make your next stop at the bank a little more friendly.
Tulsa's Oklahoma National Bank at 21st and Lewis is the first bank in our area to install the equipment. Small monitors with built-in cameras allow the customer and the teller to see and speak to each other.
Senior Vice President Valarie Land says the bank hopes it will make drive-through customers feel more comfortable. "The greatest benefit that we hope we can provide by this is truly providing that personal service for our customers, allowing them to have a close-up picture of who is working on their transaction if they have a question they can feel like that person is almost right there in front of them.â€
Land says the new screens can also show things like stock prices, or even cartoons for kids.
