(Stillwater-AP) -- Melvin Sanders led Oklahoma State with 16 points as the Cowboys beat Northwestern Louisiana State 77-to-51.

Tony Allen added 15 points and came up with five of OSU's 18 steals. Victor Williams had seven steals and tied his career record.

The Cowboys held NSU to under 39 percent shooting from the field.

Byron Mitchell narrowly missed out on a double-double for winless NSU by leading all scorers with 18 points and nine rebounds.
