Tulsa Police continue to investigate a reported kidnapping of a woman. She was found Tuesday night - and had not been harmed.

News on Six reporter Emory Bryan says Tulsa Police started a search of north Tulsa Tuesday night - after a woman named Tami West called to report she had been kidnapped - and was locked in the trunk of a car. After several hours of searching - and talking with the woman on a cell phone - police found her - outside the trunk - in an industrial area. She told police her purse was stolen at a drug store - and she was then pushed into the trunk of her car.

While she said she was in the trunk - here's what she told police. Tulsa Police Captain Daryl Webster, "periodically she could hear the helicopter going over head and she was also hearing planes taking off from the airport, so we knew she was in the north south flight pattern in all likelihood."

Police found her just a few blocks from where she said she was kidnapped. She was unable to give even a basic description of her kidnappers and there were no witnesses - so police say they have no suspects.

They are continuing to investigate this report.
