The economy has had a major impact on services that care for people. But that hasn't stopped one Broken Arrow clinic from helping those in need.
The Broken Arrow Neighbors or "BAN" has given medical assistance to thousands of people over the past two decades. And Sunday the group honored one of its founders, Dr Harold Frieze by renaming the clinic in his honor. "It's an honor and I'm proud to have received it. There's so many others involved, you feel like it should be spread around."
Frieze doesn't see patients anymore. But he still stops by the clinic on a daily basis. With the help of grants and private donations, the clinic helps more than 1,500 people a month with medicine as well as rent, clothing and food.
If you'd like to make a donation to the Broken Arrow Neighbors, now the Harold Frieze Medical Clinic call 251-7781.
