The colder weather that's settling in to Green Country means many homeless people will be looking for shelter.
The John 3:16 Mission in Tulsa is getting ready. The shelter is the city's second largest, and can comfortably house 72 people. But director Barbara Dickinson says they've made plans for close to a hundred. Barbara Dickinson with John 3:16: "We are expecting an influx, we are full every night so we are prepared for an overspill in the TV room. We've got mats laid down with fresh sheets and clean blankets and everything."
John 3:16 is also collecting turkeys to hand out to needy families for their holiday meal. If you'd like to help out, you can drop off donations at 506 North Cheyenne.
