The Foundation for Tulsa Schools announced Tuesday it will honor six schools in the district for high performance and improvement.

The schools were selected on the basis of meeting standards set in Superintendent David Sawyer's accountability plan. All employees at the six schools, including teachers and support workers, will receive a $250 bonus. Dr David Sawyer, "all employees throughout and across Tulsa Public Schools, each and every day without exception."

The schools include Carnegie and Key Elementary, Carver and Wilson Middle Schools, Booker T. Washington and Memorial High Schools.

The money comes from the foundation through private donations.
