Several hundred Cherokee County residents, who received jury duty notices, can ignore them. That’s because the jury duty term scheduled for the week of November 18th has been cancelled.
The court docket was cancelled after some 300 notices were mailed to prospective jurors. The jury trials have been rescheduled because of conflicts in the judges and attorneys schedules, and because of budget reasons.
