(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Actor and National Rifle Association President Charlton Heston appeared at a rally for Republican candidates Thursday in Oklahoma City.

GOP gubernatorial candidate Steve Largent, Senator Jim Inhofe and Congressional candidate Tom Cole appeared on stage with Heston at the Cox Convention Center.

Also at the rally were the candidates for attorney general, Republican Denise Bode and incumbent Democrat Drew Edmondson
