It's their job to get you to the hospital in an emergency. But the city of Glenpool's ambulance services might be having a financial emergency.
Glenpool has had a series of problems with its ambulance services. Last spring, city officials parted ways with LifeStat ambulance service. They hired Gold Cross ambulance services to replace them. Now, city officials say Gold Cross is having financial problems that may threaten service in the area.
Keith Robinson with Glenpool's city council says Gold Cross has already asked the council to reduce their ambulance service from two ambulances to one. "I think they got in over their heads they promised more than they could deliver and I think that's really what's led to their downfall."
