A Tulsa company that underpaid its water bill learned the City of Tulsa won't let it go - even if it's just 27 cents.

Emtec pest control uses thousands of gallons of water each month - but a 27 cent oversight prompted a late notice from the city - that cost more than $4 to send as registered mail.

The mayor's office says it's an example of well meaning employees trying to follow procedures - but it's not policy to chase after such small amounts.
