A close call for Tulsa firefighters working a fire call. Around two-o'clock Friday morning, crews were called to a home near Lewis and 56th Street North.

They found an abandoned house engulfed in flames and promptly put it out. Officials believe arson is to blame. As firefighters were doing mop up duty, they were nearly hit by a car.

Despite efforts to get the woman to stop, she squeezed her way through, nearly hitting firefighters. Tulsa Fire Captain Kern Braswell, “it was amazing that she even got as far as she did, uh, and then when we told her to stop you'd a thought she would have stopped and let us get her car back out, but she decided to just run on right through.”

The woman sped off. Authorities ran the tag and talked to the owner. She said her son had it with a girlfriend. There's no word on what happens next.
