(Grand Junction, Colorado-AP) -- A preliminary hearing is being delayed for a man accused in Colorado of killing his wife, Oklahoma native Jennifer Blagg.

Michael Blagg is accused of shooting Jennifer and disposing of her body in a Grand Junction, Colorado, area dump. The hearing is now scheduled for December ninth.

Officials say Michael Blagg was scheduled to appear in court last week on the first-degree murder count, but the hearing was delayed while the Colorado Bureau of Investigation finishes processing evidence.

Blagg is accused of killing his wife before reporting her and their six-year-old daughter Abby missing last November.

Jennifer's body was found in June in the landfill. Abby still is missing and presumed dead.

Michael Blagg is being held on a one million dollar bond.
