(Dallas-AP) -- Oklahoma running back Quentin Griffin is the Big 12 Conference co-offensive player of the week.

Griffin shares the award after rushing for a career high 248 yards and scoring two touchdowns in the Sooners' 35-to-24 win over Texas on Saturday.

Griffin was earlier named the national offensive player of the week by The Sporting News.

This is the second time this season Griffin has been the Big 12 co-offensive player of the week.

He shares this week's conference award with Colorado running back Chris Brown.
