Saturday's got another big game and neither Oklahoma nor Texas is involved.

The Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets will be in Oklahoma City's Ford Center for an exhibition game at the same time many sports fans will be south for the Red River Shootout.

Ford Center general manager Gary Desjardins says the timing couldn't be helped and he's still expecting a crowd. As of yesterday more than half of almost 19-thousand tickets had been sold.

L-A center Shaquille O'Neal will be out for foot surgery. Desjardins says the Lakers are bringing guard Kobe Bryant but it's unclear whether he's playing.
