The Tulsa State Fair took on a romantic spin Thursday for a Tulsa couple. Jack and Sherri Kovnas celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows on the Ferris wheel.
Jack: "Sherri, I take you as my wife to care for, to cherish and respect." Sherri: "to love in good times as well as bad." Jack and Sherri chose the fair to renew their vows because it was on this very Ferris wheel that they had their first date.
Jack: "We had our first kiss on this Ferris wheel in 1969, and we've been together ever since. We've been married thirty years now."
