13 Oklahoma counties were placed under a 'red flag fire alert' Wednesday.
State forestry officials say extremely dry conditions are developing across the eastern part of Oklahoma. Eastern Oklahoma counties included in the alert include, Muskogee, Okfuskee, Okmulgee, Pittsburg, Sequoyah, Mcintosh, Haskell, Latimer, and LeFlore.
The other four counties are located in southwestern Oklahoma.
