In this week's To Catch a Crook report Tulsa Police are looking for a burglar who is bold enough to walk right into downtown Tulsa businesses and take what he wants.
Detectives say the man is confident enough to pretend he's an employee, so no one questions him.
News on Six crime reporter Lori Fullbright says the burglar walked into one downtown business in the middle of the day, helped himself to lap top computers and cash and walked out.
Officer Scott Walton of the Tulsa Police says "So, far, he's stolen $20,000 worth of computer equipment."
Most of the office buildings have been in the downtown area. Some businesses even sent e-mails to employees warning them to be on the look-out.
Walton says,"He'd been dressed as cleaning crew or as an employee of the business, that's how he doesn't attract suspicsion or anything."
Detectives say if you know someone who's been offering laptops at bargain basement prices, give them a call.
If you know anything about this crime, you can call Crimestoppers at 596-COPS. You don't have to give your name and if your tip leads to an arrest, the Citizens Crime Commission will pay you a cash reward of up to $2,000.
