A story about a teenager who's making the world a better place. Tulsa's Lo Detrich is one of ten students nation-wide selected for the Barron Prize Young Heroes award.

The award honors young self-starters who have shown leadership and courage in public service. Over the past seven years, Lo has raised more than $200,000 for the Great Strides Walk for Cystic Fibrosis.

She says it's a personal crusade, she too has cystic fibrosis. "So far, we're getting closer to a cure every day and that's our goal.”

Lo is a senior at Bishop Kelley and wants to go to TU next year.
