The Oklahoma Corporation Commission has postponed taking any action on a proposal that would close several crossings in West Tulsa.
A corporation commission judge shot down the plan, which would have closed seven crossings near Charles Page Boulevard. The judge said closing the crossings would be dangerous, because emergency vehicles would be delayed and traffic would increase at other crossings.
The Sand Springs Railway appealed the decision to the full corporation commission.
In a meeting in Tulsa Wednesday, the commission put the appeal on hold. They'll make a decision in the next week to ten days.
