A Tulsa store clerk is fighting for his life after he was shot during an attempted robbery.

Tulsa Police say two men went into the Hood Food Store at 4858 North Cincinnati around seven o'clock Tuesday night. One walked up to the clerk, and shot him four times. They then tried to get into the cash register, but couldn't so they took off.

One person has been taken in for questioning. The other remains at large. The store clerk went through hours of surgery, his condition isn't known.
