The 2002 season has officially ended at Tulsa's public pools. Children got in their last laps this past weekend.

Most pools almost didn't open because of city budget problems. But a fund drive led by the mayor, and supported by the community, raised more than $300,000 to run the pools this summer.

The mayor says his office will evaluate attendance and expenses to see how the pools should be run next summer.
