A man who escaped from a correctional center in McAlester is back behind bars.

Daniel Reese walked away from the Jackie Brannon Correctional Center Thursday morning. He was serving a 10-year sentence for drug charges and stealing an aircraft.

Reese was arrested Friday morning in Oklahoma City following a short police chase. He was driving a stolen pickup truck out of McAlester.
