This week's To Catch a Crook segment focuses on a homicide that happened LAST month in Broken Arrow.
News on Six crime reporter Lori Fullbright says police believe robbery may have been the motive.
Police say the victim, 73-year-old Wayne Lee was murdered in his own home sometime around six in the evening. He was stabbed several times.
"He had several women he'd been dating in Tulsa, specifically North Tulsa. He was found in his home, but, his car was taken and it was recovered in the 2500 block of East Mohawk," said Tulsa Police Officer Andy Phillips.
For that reason, police believe the killer may live in North Tulsa and there may be a woman involved. Police say pinning down a motive is tough so far, except for the obvious.
"We can only guess that robbery was the motive right now and certainly the stolen vehicle plays into that," Phillips said.
Detectives believe Wayne Lee knew his attacker, since there was no forced entry into his home.
If you have information about this case, you can call Crimestoppers at 596-COPS.
You don't have to give your name and if your tip leads to an arrest, the Citizens Crime Commission will give you a cash reward of up to two-thousand dollars.
