Four Oklahoma gymnasts have a chance to earn a spot on the national team.

Senior Josh Landis, sophomores Josh Gore and David Henderson and assistant coach Guard Young will all compete at the U-S Gymnastics Championships starting next Wednesday in Cleveland.

The meet will name the Senior and Junior National Teams. The teams will represent the U-S in international competition throughout the year.

(Norman-AP) -- The honors keep piling up for former O-U basketball star Stacey Dales-Schuman.

Dales-Schuman, now with the W-N-B-A's Washington Mystics, has been named the Verizon Academic All-America player of the year among Division one athletes.

Dales-Schuman graduated with a three-point-seven-one grade point average as a communications major. She's a two-time All-American and three-time Academic All-Big 12 team member.
