Tulsa Ballet will leave next week for its international debut at a major arts festival in Portugal. And the tour isn't just about ballet, but also business.

Business and city leaders gathered Tuesday for a forum on how the arts can help develop international business in Oklahoma. Governor Keating and a delegation from the State Commerce Department will go along on Tulsa Ballet's tour. Tulsa Ballet president Cheryl Forrest, "They are bringing European investment clients to the performance and will be holding trade discussions with them after the performance the next day."

Tulsa Ballet is the only US company invited to perform at the Ballet Nights Festival in Sintra, Portugal, a month-long arts festival featuring some of the world's best dance companies.
