(Broken Arrow-AP) -- A Jenks High School senior is the first Oklahoma high schooler since 1977 to win a state amateur golf title.
Mitch Cohlmia was one of two high-school aged golfers to advance to the final round.
He played against veteran golfers and won the tournament. The last high school-aged golfer to do that was Jeff McMillian who won the tournament in 1977 before his senior year at Stillwater High School.
