Boil order issued for Okmulgee County rural water district #6

A rural water district in Okmulgee County is asking its customers to conserve water and to boil the water they do use for drinking and food preparation.

Rural water district # 6 says low water pressure caused by high demand has required the warning.

Customers impacted by the boil order include those living west of US highway 75 and south of 201st Street South and east of 75 from 266th Street South to State highway 16.

The boil order is in place until further notice.
