A young girl is raped in Broken Arrow and police are trying to find the suspect.
Broken Police say the 13-year-old girl was riding her bike in her neighborhood on Monday afternoon between 12:30 and 1:30, when a man kidnapped her. They say he drove her about a mile to the Ray Harrell Nature Park, assaulted her, and then, dropped her off in the 300 block of West Quantico.
Two women driving a station wagon saw the little girl and gave her a ride home. Police released a computer composite of the suspect. He's white, around 5-feet-8 inches tall, 220 pounds and balding. He was driving a small, black pickup with gray interior that rides low to the ground. It had a red stripe and a starburst pattern. There was a framed picture of Joseph, Mary and Jesus hanging by a red ribbon from the rearview mirror.
Broken Arrow Police would also like to talk to the women who gave the girl a ride home Monday afternoon. If anyone has information about this case, they are asked to call Broken Arrow Police at 259-8405 or 259-8399.
