Investigators may be one step closer to finding what caused the deadly OSU plane crash.

Ten men associated with OSU basketball program died. A year and a half after the plane plowed into a frozen Colorado field, electrical failure is looking more and more like the cause.

The Tulsa World reports one of the plane's two inverters may have been faulty at the time of take-off, and the other may have failed in-flight, leaving the aircraft without any power.

The official report is due in the fall.
