Some Tulsa Red Cross workers are on their way to Texas to assist flood victims there.
The Tulsa Chapter's Emergency Response Vehicle left Tuesday morning for the San Antonio area, where thousands are homeless.
The Red Cross says there's a great need for mass feedings, and volunteers say they're eager to help. Red Cross official Camille Sartain, "Our volunteers drive residential areas where there is no water, no power, no electricity, and they take care of feeding the people three times a day."
Another volunteer Robert Bostwick, "My paycheck comes then they come up to me and smile and say thank you. That's what it's all about
