(Lincoln, Nebraska-AP) -- Central Oklahoma's most successful men's basketball coach is out of a job in Nebraska.

Jim Seward was named assistant womens basketball coach three months ago but Nebraska said yesterday Seward's out.

Seward came to the Cornhuskers after 15 years with the Bronchos and a 261-and-165 record. He was named interim head women's coach last month after Paul Sanderford resigned.

Nebraska officials say new coach Connie Yori chose not to keep any of Sanderford's assistants. Sanderford quit last month citing health reasons.
