(Tulsa-AP) -- The University of Tulsa men's basketball schedule includes three teams ranked in the Associated Press top 25.

TU coach John Phillips says his team will play second-ranked Kansas, sixth-ranked Gonzaga and 25-ranked Hawaii.

The Hurricane could face Kent State in a second-round matchup at the South Padre Island Classic in November.

Tulsa also will play Iowa, Fresno State and Louisiana Tech.

Phillips says Tulsa's schedule is becoming more competitive every year.

The Hurricane opens the regular season at the South Padre Island Classic in Texas. The first home game is December Fourth against Wichita State.
