A Tulsa Police officer accused of sexual battery has been cleared of all charges.
Tulsa County District Court jurors needed just 45 minutes to find Orlanda Lacy not guilty. Lacy was accused of improperly touching a woman while he was on duty in December 2000.
His attorney, Richard O’Carroll says his client was involved in a "shoddy investigation" and jurors saw right through the alleged victim. "I think the young lady, as I told the jury was a thrill seeker and enjoyed the celebrity and the jury was not impressed with that position."
Prosecuting attorney Doug Drummond, "I think the victim is terribly upset at this point. It's been an 18 month journey fro her to come forward and to get to this point, it's gotta be a heartbreak."
Lacy has been suspended from the force with pay since he was charged more than a year ago.
