The fight continues over whether or not Oklahoma should force underage girls to get parental consent before they can get an abortion.
Tuesday, State Senator Scott Pruitt of Broken Arrow asked Attorney General Drew Edmondson to appeal the recent ruling that declared parental notification unconstitutional.
Pruitt's legislation to require consent was unanimously approved by both state houses and signed into law by Governor Keating. But a ruling from a judge through out the law.
Pruitt is asking the Attorney General to argue the merits of the law before the 10th US Circuit Court of Appeals.
