(Tulsa-AP) -- The Tulsa Drillers beat Midland 2-to-nothing Thursday.

Gerald Laird hit a solo homer for the Drillers and three pitchers combined to hold Midland to five hits.

Earlier Thursday, the Drillers lost 3-to-2 in the completion of a game suspended Wednesday night due to bad weather.

The game resumed in the tenth inning with Tulsa trailing 3-to-2 and the Drillers weren't able to score in their final at-bat.
