A mobile campaign to stop Medicare cuts made a stop in Broken Arrow Wednesday.

Broken Arrow is the campaign's 45th stop on their coast-to-coast effort. They're protesting two billion dollars of Medicare cuts set to go into effect in the fall.

Advocates say the 10% cut will endanger senior citizens ability to get quality care and risk thousands of jobs. Broken Arrow senior citizens and nursing home staff at the Forest Hill Healthcare Center signed a 4-foot by 100-foot petition to show support. Administrator, Carla Jackson, "Its our intention to send a signal to Washington: do not balance the budget on the backs of our nation's greatest generation."

Advocates kicked off their drive for quality care three months ago and plan to arrive on Capitol Hill in September.
