A Tennessee judge has ruled 31-year-old Steven Thacker can be extradited to Oklahoma.

Thacker, who is charged in the December 1999 murder of Laci Dawn Hill of Bixby, had been fighting extradition to Oklahoma. Thacker was convicted and sentenced to death in February for the stabbing murder of Dyersburg, Tennessee businessman Ray Patterson. Thacker also has been charged with killing of a 24-year-old Missouri man.

Mayes County authorities expect to have Thacker back in their county by Thursday. A hearing date in Mayes County District Court has not yet been set.
