(Colorado Springs-AP) -- Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and the rest of the Big 12 schools will have more money to spend this year than last year.

Commissioner Kevin Weiberg says the conference expects to distribute $82.2-million to member schools this year.

That's up from $75.5-million distributed last year.

Weiberg made the announcement at the conclusion of the Big 12 meetings in Colorado Springs.

During the meetings, faculty representatives voted to support NCAA academic reform proposals that would change academic eligibility standards, reporting methods and incentives.
