(Tulsa-AP) -- Oral Roberts player Eric Thornton's on the Louisville Slugger-Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-America Team.

The Golden Eagles' Dennis Bigley is an honorable mention choice.

Thornton played in all O-R-U's 64 games this season and started 55 times. Thornton recorded 52 R-B-Is and was 6-for-6 in stolen bases.

Bigley struck out 50 batters in 61-point-two innings.
