(Oklahoma City-AP) -- The major league baseball draft has ended with a half-dozen Oklahoma pitchers leaving for the big leagues.

Michael Brown of Owasso will go to the Yankees, Don Powers of Shawnee was picked by Boston and Corey Hall of Seminole is heading for San Diego.

Other pitchers chosen in the last 25 rounds include Buck Shaw of Wagoner and Taylor McIntyre of Edmond Santa Fe who're both going to Anaheim and Curtis White of OU who's bound for Oakland.

The Yankees also took Elk City first baseman Matthew Yost in the 45th round. The Cubs got Bartlesville first baseman Bryan Kayser.
