America's truckers may be the latest to start tracking terrorism. The American Trucking Association is trying to mobilize a trucking army.
They want to enlist and train three million truckers to keep an eye out for suspicious activity on roads and bridges. Reaction from the truckers we talked to was mixed. Trucker Deldon Gray, "You're doing your job to keep from running over somebody then you've got a full-time job on yourself right then."
Trucker Al Maurer, "You're out there anyways. I mean if you can’t use your eyes and ears for what they were made for there's something wrong."
The plan will cost about $38.5-million and include setting up a hotline for truckers to call in tips.
