An employee of the Tulsa County jail was arrested Thursday on a charge of second-degree rape.

Eugene Pendleton has been on paid administrative leave while under investigation of rape allegations from a former inmate.

Now, CCA, the company that owns the jail, has fired Pendleton because of the criminal charge.
