(Louisville-AP) -- Hoping for his first Triple Crown win, trainer Bob Baffert watched from the grandstands as ``War Emblem'' galloped on the track Wednesday morning at Churchill Downs.

The Baffert-trained Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner has the opportunity to become the 12th Triple Crown winner when he runs the Belmont Stakes in New York on June eighth.

Baffert says ``War Emblem'' knows he's a good horse. He says the colt has an attitude and that attitude is going to help him at the Belmont.

Today's gallop was the second workout for the horse since he won the Preakness on May 18th.

The black-colt ran five-eights of a mile today under exercise rider Dana Barnes. He received a bath after his workout before returning to his home -- Barn 33.
