(Oklahoma City-AP) -- John Rocker made his first appearance with Triple A Oklahoma Saturday night, allowing one hit and striking out two in one inning.
The RedHawks won the game, beating the Sacramento River Cats 4-to-3 in 11 innings.
Rocker was demoted by the Texas Rangers on Tuesday. He had also been sent down in April, but didn't report and instead worked with a private instructor until he was recalled a week later.
Travis Hafner's two-run homer in the ninth tied the game for the RedHawks, who won it in the 11th on Danny Ardoin's RBI single.
