A Green Country teenager has been found guilty Friday of stabbing his father to death. Rogers County jurors convicted 17-year-old Cody Phillips of Claremore of second-degree murder.

Phillips received a ten-year prison sentence, but could be released when he turns 20. Lawyers for Phillips argued the murder was self- defense. But prosecutors say the boy planned the stabbing and even presented a notebook where the teen-ager had written about killing his dad.
