TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Paul Ottavinia's bases-loaded single in the 11th inning gave the Tulsa Drillers a 4-3 victory over Wichita and a sweep of their day-night Texas League doubleheader.
In the first game, Juan Silvestre's solo home run in the fifth inning proved to be the game winner in a 3-2 victory.
Ruben Rivera had three hits and Jason Moore homered for Tulsa in the late game. Ottavinia's game-winning hit followed a walk by Jeremy Jones and singles by Rivera and Matt Gajewski.
Jim Brink (2-2) got the victory in relief. The loser was Jeremy Hill (2-2).
The homer by Silvestre was one of just two hits by Tulsa in the first game. Wichita managed just three hits, including Chan Perry's two-run homer in the third that gave the Wranglers a 2-1 lead.
Tulsa tied it with an unearned run in the bottom of the inning.
Travis Hughes (5-2) went five innings for the victory. The loser was reliever Kris Wilson (0-1).
