A dry pool debate stirs up once again, this time in Bartlesville. Residents in the Washington County community continue to remain under a strict water watch.

Conservation also means swimming this season is on hold for the city's two public pools. Despite creative suggestions by residents to save the summer pastime, city officials say finding the water is a problem only Mother Nature can solve. Bartlesville mayor Tom Lockin, "Right now Hulah Lake has come back up over three feet from its lowest point and we're very encouraged by that. We just want some more rains in this area. It still isn't over the 50% level and as we move into the warmer months we're being very very prudent."

Lockin says Hulah Lake has to be at least 70% full before they can tap into it. Water restrictions have been in effect for nearly a month.
