Legal troubles for two Oklahoma men traveling in Florida. David McCord of Ketchum and Jeffrey Hoover of Skiatook are accused of leaving 38 puppies unattended in their van while they stayed overnight at a Daytona Beach motel.
They're charged with leaving the puppies without enough food, water, and exercise, a misdemeanor. McCord says the dogs were well taken care of.†There’s no cruelty to them, vaccinating everything that needs to be vaccinated, everything that needed to be given a shot to, we were taking very good care of the puppies."
The dogs are now at a Humane Society shelter in Florida.
