Tulsa streets are under a road review. City councilor Bill Christiansen has created a new committee that will look at how contractors are hired to make street repairs.

Several city councilors are on the committee. They hope to make recommendations to the Public Works Department on how to improve major repair projects. Bill Christiansen, "we're really after the best value for the voters, you know. We want the street repairs to be done right the first time and we want the value to be there for the voters so that they gain the confidence in the city council and the administration that we're doing a good job and spending their money wisely."

Look for some recommendations within six to eight weeks.
