MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) _ Oklahoma State won its second consecutive and third overall Big 12 Women's Golf Championship after leading through all three rounds of the tournament played at Colbert Hills Golf Course.
The teams completed the second and third rounds Sunday following a rain delay during the second round Saturday.
The Cowgirls fired a third-round 314 to finish at 909, holding off a charge from second-place Oklahoma, which shot 309 in the final round to finish three strokes back at 912.
Texas placed third with 921, followed by Baylor in fourth at 926 and Iowa State fifth at 942.
Oklahoma State's Emma Zackrisson was the medalist with a 7-over-par 223, followed by Kansas State's Christine Boucher in second at 224.
Oklahoma's Allison Johnson and Lisa Ferrero of Texas tied for third at 225. Kristin Dufour of Texas rounded out the top five in fifth at 226.
Zackrisson was the third Oklahoma State golfer to win individual honors. Maria Boden was medalist in 1999 and 2001, the same years that Oklahoma State won its first two Big 12 titles.
